Paul Connett is Professor Emeritus in Environmental Chemistry at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY, and is the world’s best known scientist speaking out on water fluoridation. As well as teaching, Paul has put his scientific knowledge to work by helping (without fee) communities around the world understand the science of controversial issues (including fluoridation). In addition to explaining the dangers of such practices he offers details of the alternatives.

Since 1996, Paul has researched the primary scientific literature on fluoride. He has interviewed many leading researchers, given presentations to community groups and public bodies around the world (including the US National Research Council and the US EPA) and challenged leading proponents of fluoridation to debate the issue publicly. In 2000, Paul co-founded the Fluoride Action Network. He is co-author of The Case Against Fluoride, along with James Beck PhD and H. Spedding Micklem PhD.
