The CIA media strategy involved a self-referencing closed network of assets and allies all endorsing each other and referring the public to each other’s material in an attempt to create the illusion of Establishment credibility, and a “consensus” viewpoint, while simultaneously tarring all other perspectives as mere “conspiracy theories.” It was a neat (read: dirty) trick which has worked wonders for these liars ever since the JFK assassination.
One can just picture the armies of Establishment trolls and shills salivating at the prospect of being able to dispute any and every item that shows up on Facebook which they don’t like as “fake news,” making it even harder than it already is for independent news outlets to be seen and heard by the people who need to be reached the most (the people who need waking up so they can become part of the solution).
When you know where to look, you begin to see an unprecedented phenomenon now happening in this world of ours. Be they teachers in favelas, forest defenders, urban farmers, occupiers of Wall Street, designers of windmills, military resisters (the list goes on…), the fact is people from all walks of life are coming alive and coming together, impelled to create a more just and sustainable society.
Average Joe loves the news. He sees the ability to talk about its contents as a measure of ‘worldliness’, and imagines a world without it as dangerous and empty.
